Peter Voser in Malaysia!

Siapa Peter Voser ni? hehehe. ok. He is group CEO of Shell. Boleh wiki nama dia. Anyway, cik orkid sangat excited bila dapat tawu dia datang. He is no 1 person in Shell ok! hehe. Memang look forward to meet him. Bayangkan ramai juga Shell staff seluruh Malaysia turun ke Cyber untuk jumpa dia. Beribu ribu sambut dia dengan meriah. Sempena CNY, ada juga lion dance. Memang proud to be Malaysian!! Full with culture.

Anyway, I am very happy also that Petronas and Shell has signed contract for another 30 years of partnership. Tu menunjukkan strong existence of Shell in Malaysia :)

ok. Haritu, macam biasa ada staff townhall. Dia ceritakan performance 2011, strategy 2012 and etc.

And and and........I am so privileged that all the grads in Shell were invited to have a session with him. Ok. A bit of intro here. Apa grad in Shell? Allrite, cik orkid dlm 3 year programme utk grad program..kira program ni untuk people yang ada potential pegang jawatan tinggi or future leader in Shell. Ala ala apprentice. So opportunity, gaji, benefits semua memang best sikit compared to normal hire. Above that we need to deliver like 3,4, 5 times better than normal hire haahah.

Ok..moving on... gambar bawah ni la engagement kami. Kami buat vid conference jugak. Kami memang sgt rely heavily on vid conference, teleconference semua.

Speaker for SESERI SELERO :-)

Last weekend was a very hectic...on friday, i got this alumni sharing and the next day I had grooming workshop. hehe. will blog about the workshop later.

Anyway, if you are my reader since last year (post here), you would recall that I participated in motivational talk to my former school students. And yes...this time round, I was humbled to be invited again to share in one slot.

Like previous year, I shared about my journey: from school --> UTP --> Shell. Been there done that kononnya kan. hahaa.

Alhamdulillah, the response was very very positive. ya...hearing from senior u will like kinda see what future will bring you. I was a PRS before (read: peer counsellor)(read: mind me if i have dat attidtude of always give advice even u did not ask pun, u know where it came from kan ahha)

This time, I was so tired. Stuck in jam for almost 2 hours. After work some more. Lapar some more! so i think my sharing was not good at all :(

Ok..next month, I will go to UTP pulak for "job sharing" ahahaha. I am not that good, but i believe with some knowledge n experience that I have, it wud mean something to someone. I really feel obliged to serve my alma mater even though im no longer there.

Its kinda funny to see my slidespack. all about me. but it is good for me to reflect.

"Guys...how would you draw your life?"

and i learnt a lot from the students too. InsyaAllah if I have time and rezeki I will continue doing this.

Rambling

Not a serious post. Just few things came across my mind

1. Communication can solve most of the problems in the world. Sume orang tawu tapi susah nak implement. Especially orang timur. I am building my assertiveness skills. Tak tahu, tanya. Ada doubt, clarify. Never assume. I practised a lot of this esp masa my tunang prep n also will do a lot lagi utk upcoming wedding. N its reli important gak for relationship :-)

2. Malu bertanya sesat jalan. Simple. Tapi serius memang betul. Contoh dlm kerja: u belajar n research or assume smthng in ur role, tp sbnarnya ada some1yg pernah "been there, done that". I am under develop program in shell, so akan rotate. I cant afford to learn everything by myself. Shortcut, tanya orang or leader. Important: ask for tips on how to shine in ur role, what are the mistakes or learning from previous person, what could u do to contribute more. Bila kita dah frame our thoughts correctly, our journey will be smoother.

3. My job is boring. I think most of us do not like our job. I have been hinted dat my job is going to be dry...but again..its about how u see things.. Is the glass half empty or half full. Tips: everyday, ask urself how u can make a difference in ur job, carik different ways to perform ur job, carik improvement point n organize 1:1 with ur manager..or simply ask them i want to do more. Do u have any project in mind? Sometimes we just do our job for the sake of doing it. Cuba tukar kepada helicopter view n pikir how u can contribute n what the impact of ur work to others. That wud make ur job more interesting :-)

4. Do everything n anything that can make ur parents hepi. Tapi rule no 1 applies taw if u have any disagreement. Patuh tu biar bijak. Serius. Makin dah nak bina keluarga sendiri, makin rasa betullah berkat dari orang tua. Sebab tu, i will make sure apa2 i buat memang with their consent. Even kena kuar byk duit sbb tu, tapi i berani potong jari, u xkan rasa susah. Kalo mereka x suka, apply lah negotiation skills hehe

5. Lately byk bukak pasal blog org preggy or bersalin etc.my aim, b4 i kawen i want to make sure dat i am prepared mentally to be a mother.

6. Always begin with an end in mind. Contoh: i selalu ingatkan diri. I prepare my last engagement n coming weding insyaAllah dgn harapan my parents hepi, tetamu dtg hepi so dat they will doa for our happiness as husband n wife n in life. That principle reli help me to focus.

Review: candy buffet murah

Alhamdulillah..ni adalah salah satu perkara yang memang cik orkid sangat puas hati. Memang dari dulu berniat nak buat candy buffet masa engagement. Survey punya survey...sangatlah mahal untuk small size candy buffet..range 50 to 70pax around rm400-500. Jadi last minute mintak tolong my bridesmaid to be thirah untuk design label. Hehe. Memang sgt banyak membantu. Jar or pinggan kebanyakan memang ada dah. Beli juga di ikea.

Idea memang dalam kepala..pegi beli candy dekat kedai borong. Tapi seriusly pagi tu baru kelam kabut buat. Alhamdulillah ada sepupu n adik yang membantu. Masa tu memang buat je ikut resource yang ada. Tup tup hasilnya not bad. Photographer n even wedding vendor pun puji. Paling best bila tengok budak2 hepi datang kat meja tu. Makcik2 yang datang yasin kerumun lagi hebat dari budak kecik. Haha. Siap doakan kami murah rezeki. Amin amin amin. Candy buffet di atas kami refill byk kali. Tu untuk 100pax.

Having candy buffet memang sgt memorable :-) semua suggest untuk buat business candy buffet murah. I have put serious thought in it. InsyaAllah, murah dan berbaloi. Masih belajar.. First project after my engagement ialah dgn my besfren wedding, 28hb kat dewan permata bangi. Tema gold. Sgt berharap hasilnya memuaskan hati. Persiapan, perabot, pavlova

Wahhhh sedap pulak 3P. Today officially ngedate dgn my fiance. Tak tawu nak buat apa. Nak buat persiapan or survey memang xde mood. Maka agenda wajib ialah makan2. Masak untuk dia (kena masak once in a while kalo x dia rasa xdisayangi..comel je). Of coz, kalo cik orkid masak memang sah dia bertambah byk kali. Haha. Kemudian cik orkid mengidam goreng pisang..nak makan dgn sambal kicap dari rumah. Then lalu kedai perabot kat area sg chua tu then singgah untuk survey perabot. Haha. Seriously lagi excited nak hidup sama dari kenduri (gatal!)...

Kemudian ke kelana jaya untuk jumpa dengan customer herbalife yang kencing manis. Syukur sangat2 akak tu cakap level gula dia dari 12 b4 herbalife jatuh to 8. So dia repeat order :-) :-) tak tawu nak describe mcm mana hepinya kami. Its not about money..tp sbb tlg org. Kemudian tak tawu ke mana kami nak tgk wayangla kononnya..ke empire gallery. Mmg non hado la. Last2 makan pavlova. Sedap gile gile. Baru 1st time makan. Omg serius sipi2 je nak bungkus lagi haha. Den cik orkid terasa nak makan sushi. Maka en tunang baik hati terlebih sebab dapat masakan cik orkid, so ke ioi mall pulak. Makanlah sushi.

I'm a happy girl today. As always en tunang belanja hahahha. Tq for a wonderful day :-) :-)

Ps. Tambah hepi sbb ilang 1kg sbb start balik herbalife for 3days n umur bdn kurang 5tahun. Alhamdulillah.

Rojak paling sedap di Muar

Ok...stop kejap review pasal kawen2 ni..hehe. Now nak cerita pasal rojak yang paling best kat muar, johor. Or should i say rojak yang paling best kat malaysia? Hehe. Seriusly xpenah lagi makan rojak petis yang sama macam D.R Rojak muar nih..by Pak Din :-)

Bagi sesiapa yang singgah ke muar, memang wajib datang try rojak nih. Rojak petis dengan tauhu, tempe, kangkung, sengkuang, timun, nenas. Awesome menjilat jari. Tapi cik orkid suka makan yang version pedas.tambah cili padi.

Ok..location kat pasar parit jawa..setiap hari. Dari pukul 10.30am - 7pm. Just ask orang kat situ DR Rojak sure they know :-) :-) sedap sangat sampai lupa nak amek gambar rojaknyeee hehehe.

Review Cintasari Spa

Cik orkid mulakan 2012 dengan spa...memang gila spa... (ye.ye....slalu g spa tp x chantek2 pownnn hahaha)

Hobi cik orkid memang mmanjakn diri..suka try dari satu tempat ke satu tempat.

Anyway, dgn berbekalkan alasan penat bertunang hari tu..maka cik orkid ke cintasari spa dengan b2b peah. She never tried spa b4 n she was so excited haahaa.

Kami terlambat...makanya dengarlah bebelan dari mereka haha. Ok for b2b yang mencari2 bridal spa memang boleh try nih. Ck orkid selalunya g spa yang pampering..takde taditional benefit sangat..so bila try yang ni rasa best gileeee.. Selalu jugak baca good review from b2b lain. Dia ada 2 cawangn..kat ampang n tmn melati.

Cik orkid urut sejam setengah dgn pekerja paling enior kat situ - kak min. Superb! Dia tak berenti sendawa..nmpak sangat bdn cik orkid byk angin hehe. N buat body scrub n body mask. Urut rm90 n body scrub nmask FOC sbb 1st time customer. Sangat puas hati, kami amek pakej lain pulak untuk next time. Tutup mata...swipe sajork :-P

So kepada sape2 nak try dtgla ke spa diorang.memang puas hti...jgn lupa print voucher dari website diorang, if not kena bebel lagi dgn diorang mcm kami hehe.
