The Road Not Taken

Dulu masa sekolah memang suka sangat this poem.
It inspires me to be more positive about challenges..

Now...i am in the middle of two diverged roads. Or maybe 3, or 4. haha.

Serious. I am not sure about my upcoming way to undertake.
Today, a very humble and inspiring lecturer gave a thought about this.
What can i say? He just added another options to me. haha.

Options yg ada ni pun da cukup memeningkan kepala..
Takpela...layan je la dulu. :P

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim
Because it was grassy and wanted wear,
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I marked the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Robert Frost

P/S: I think may be i will take the one less traveled.. because when the odds are against u, the victory is even sweeter, i believe :)

u know, u just made me traveled wayyyyyyyy back to those days.. in school to be exact. its funny that it took me years to figure out the meaning behind this poem, and i kid u not. i dont remember ever understood any of the phrase until now and i wonder myself how did i manage my exam if didnt understand any of it before? well, i guess people (i am, at least..) assume they know stuffs, but the truth is.. they dont (i dont..) so, its amazing such dated, and simple poem can sum one's life up and inspire million others (dat million includes me yo!)..

anyways, thanks for the friendly reminder. u made me thinking. the next time i stumbled upon options, i shall remind myself to go with the one less taken, and not the one im comfortable with.. (not sure if this is what u intended to share here, but i guess one can interpret it any way they like, no?)

=)

i'm happy that i made u remember back the poem and the meanings behind that. i always believe the options that majority of ppl opt to isn't always the best :)
